AC Milan abruptly block Krunic’s transfer

Rade Krunic is not leaving Milan for now. The Rossoneri have received pleasing offers for the Bosnian midfield but have blocked his sale.

AC Milan aspire to make another signing in midfield but at the moment negotiations with all the targets are in stand-by. Tiemoue Bakayoko remains the top choice but convincing Chelsea has not been far from easy.

Only when the Rossoneri manage to “block” a new player they will green light the sale of Rade Krunic. AC Milan have received a pleasing offer from Freiburg of 8 million euros that they intend to accept. Other teams are also interested in the 26-year-old midfielder but have presented any bids.

At this point the transfer of Rade Krunic to Freiburg should have been completed but without a deal for a new midfielder the Rossoneri want to be cautious and get a replacement first.

Despite the arrival of Sandro Tonali, AC Milan still need to have another central midfielder. The former Brescia has yet to get into shape and the other option is the inexperienced Tommaso Pobega. Thus the choice of Milan is logical.

Nevertheless, the sale of Rade Krunic is just a matter of time. In his first, and probably only, season at San Siro the Bosnia international failed to make any significant impact. Injuries restricted him to only 15 Serie A appearances, mostly from the bench.
